Very fast and friendly service on a Sunday afternoon! Bossam came with all the sides and the rest of the side dishes were delicious too. Crispy chicken wasn't too crispy but still really good and very juicy. would definitely come again!

This place is on par with Korean restaurants in the area, and service is about the same. Bulgogi was the best thing on the menu that we tried, but it's hard to get the waiter's attention to refill water or get more banchan. I liked the hotstone bibimbap with bulgogi the most, and my friends generally agreed that it was the best. Kimchi tofu soup was also really flavorful and spicy! We decided to sit outside, but the internal ambiance also seemed on par with other Korean restaurants in the area.

TLDR: Every dish I have tried has been delicious, their combo meal is lots of food and worth the value, side dishes are also great! Actually my TLDR is all you need to know - everything has been good cant go wrong with anything it seems. I have eaten all the soups, the short rib, seafood pancake, bossam, and bulgolgi and have not been disappointed by anything. Service also great and attentive!

First time trying Woomiok and it did not disappoint. We felt we needed some broth to cleanse all the fried foods we had eaten. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and there were many ppl eating there; however, the restaurant is big so we were sat immediately. The staff were very attentive and they had the buttons you press when you need assistance. They were very kind and took our order rather quickly. They brought out an assortment of banchan and it seems they make all of them there including the kimchi. The galbi tang came out and it was piping hot! The soup had huge chucks of meet that had fallen off the bone. Everything was simply amazing, craving it now lol

Very good bone broth. Got the number 4. I like that you can adjust the salt and how much scallions can add to your own taste. We also tried the seafood pancake and was lacking a bit of flavor. Maybe bad batch of the day, but would come back for the soup again!

Wonderful Korean food spot in Convoy! Our party of four visited Woomiok on a Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. We ordered the Woomiok Special Combo, priced at $125.99 at time of review, which comes with a seafood pancake, braised short rib, and two options from the soup or meal menu. If you're interested in the braised short rib, ordering this combo is worth it since the short rib itself is almost $70. For the two options, we ordered the beef bone sop and spicy octopus over rice. Everything was great, especially the seafood pancake which was packed with seafood and beef bone soup which was so rich in flavor. For our party of four, we had leftovers after our meal. Service was good and prompt. Parking is a bit tough given it is located in the Convoy area. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to my next visit here.

Best Korean spot on Convoy, hands down Wow!! Where do I even begin?! Woomiok blew everything out of the water with their high-quality dishes and generous portions. Although we were just a party of 3, we were in the mood for celebrating, or maybe we were just excited to bond over dinner, so we went for the combo meal. It may have been a tad overzealous in hind sight, but who doesn't love leftovers?! Cold noodles -- nothing says summer quite like a giant bowl of cold Korean noodle soup!!! It's refreshing, tangy from the vinegar & mustard, sweet and savory. We opted for the saucy (no broth) version this time. Don't be afraid of the color. While it looks spicy, the type of chili used here is actually quite mild. It's more of a sweet chili sauce really. It was served with delicate slices of cucumber, thinly sliced cold cuts of beef and an hard boiled egg. Seafood pancake-- just when I think I've found the best seafood pancake, I happen upon another Korean eatery that does it better. I'm pretty confident that THIS seafood pancake is in the lead for that top spot now. Woomiok's version is uber crispy, stuffed with shrimp and baby octopus. They don't skimp on the seafood and they certainly don't bulk up the dish by adding more mung bean flour/more of the dough. It's such a treat. I'm a no sauce girl because I'm a purist. Try this without the scallion soy sauce. I dare you. Beef brisket soup-- no matter what it is that ails your soul, this broth will cure you. The bones have been simmered low for many hours so all the beefy goodness and nutrients have seeped into the soup. You'll also find some slippery glass noodles tucked in there. Braised beef stew-- the crème de la crème and the pièce de résistance!! This came sizzling and hot at the end of our meal and to be honest, we were way too stuffed to eat another bite, but it smelled amazing so we had to try just a tiny bit. It's a massive hot plate piled with meticulously braised beef and stewed carrots. It's the kind of hearty dish that hearkens cooler weather to come. It's what you need after a hard day's work to fuel up. Even without the cheese (anti-lactose girlies), the dish was mouthwateringly delicious!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Woomiok. Personally, I have not been able to stop thinking about the meal since my last visit and I cannot wait to be back--with more friends too!!
